Attention Heated Rivlary fans: There are no smoothies for you at the Straw + Berry. This is not your ice time. And no, you can’t come to the cottage.
At least not until Season 2 of Heated Rivalry is done filming.
Director Jacob Tierney has posted a gentle request for space for the cast and crew of the beloved television series while they film Season 2. It was also posted on the show’s official Instagram account.
The message was addressed to the show’s “incredible fans” and said, “if you happen to come across one of our filming locations, please give our cast and crew the space they need to do what they do best.”
Heated Rivalry Season 2 is being filmed primarily in Toronto and Montreal, according to the industry website Production List, and the crew may also return to some familiar sites in Hamilton, Ont.
But fans have already proved they are eager to catch a glimpse of the show’s stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
They were seen walking together in downtown Toronto over the weekend, and even inspired some frenzied shopping trips to Canadian Tire after Williams was photographed carrying one of the store’s reusable bags.

When the queer hockey romance premiered in late 2025, it scored Williams and Storrie legions of fans around the world, earning them a level of attention rarely experienced by the stars of Canadian TV shows.
Since then, the actors have been careful to draw boundaries with fans and paparazzi alike.
Over the weekend, the celebrity gossip site Deux Moi shared comments from one person who claimed to have approached Storrie in Toronto, only to be told, “sorry, I’m not doing photos right now.”
Last month, Williams was recorded during a tense confrontation with alleged autograph-sellers in Paris who apparently followed him and his entourage to the place they were staying.
Heated Rivalry is not the only set with a high-profile actor drawing attention in Toronto right now.
Sarah Polley’s movie adaptation of The Bell Jar features pop star Billie Eilish, and it is supposed to have a closed set, but that didn’t stop photos from cropping up on social media over the weekend.
Some appeared to be close-ups taken by paparazzi with long-range lenses and sold to the celebrity news agency Backgrid. Others appear to be taken by fans and passers-by.
So far, neither the director nor the film’s official Instagram account have gone so far as to put out a public request for space.
