A London, Ont., woman has been charged with six counts of criminal negligence causing bodily harm after Friday’s vehicle crash into a GoodLife Fitness centre at Sherwood Forest Mall in the city’s north end.
Jennifer Lynn Hopper, 59, appeared in court Monday in relation to the charges.
Hopper was among seven people sent to hospital after the vehicle drove through an exterior wall of the gym.

Police also provided an update on the conditions of the injured people. Four have been discharged from hospital, one remains in critical condition and two are listed in good and fair condition.
“I can confirm with you that we have evidence and we have information that the vehicle accelerated into the building,” Chief Thai Truong told a news conference Friday, adding that investigators have found no indication it was related to terrorism.
Immediately following the crash, a code orange was activated at the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), a designation used during incidents involving multiple casualties that require a co-ordinated response.

Witnesses described the crash as unusual and questioned how it happened because there are no parking spaces directly facing the wall where the vehicle entered the building.
The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 7:20 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. ET Friday, or who may have cellphone video, dashcam footage or residential or business surveillance video to contact police.
