Ottawa police and paramedics say a young boy has died after falling from an apartment window on Laurier Avenue E. around the University of Ottawa Monday evening.
Ottawa paramedics say the boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after apparently falling “from a height” near Waller Street around 6:45 p.m.
The boy, who paramedics described as younger than eight years old, was found with critical injuries beside a building, according to paramedics.
He was taken to CHEO, Ottawa’s children’s hospital. Police said he was pronounced dead in the hospital.
