I don’t know the team of wild geniuses over at Liquid Death who come up with this stuff, but the canned-water brand has once again delivered the goods, and this time they only needed “1/10th of Tony Hawk” to make their point. What!? Yep. Take a look:
Their latest campaign is hyping up a new line of low-sugar sodas, each with great names (Killer Cola, Severed Lime, and Dr. Death) and yeah, again, they hired the most iconic part of The Birdman—his face—to help get their point across.
The hyperrealistic prosthetic was crafted by Hollywood FX legend Tony Gardner (he’s the dude behind Chucky and Bad Grandpa, just to name a few) and it’s absolutely insane. At the same time, it sheds a perfect light on their whole “1/10th the sugar, 100% of the flavor” angle.

Raise your hand if you remember when Liquid Death and The Birdman dropped those insane blood-infused skateboards back in 2021 that literally sold out in 20 minutes? They pretty much broke social media that day. If not, look below.
To add to it all, Liquid Death is also doing a sweepstakes where one lucky soul can win a signed headshot of 1/10th of Tony Hawk. There’s only one, and only one lucky person will win it, but it’s still pretty rad, right?
Call it absurd. Call it genius. Call it whatever you want. But it’s exactly what we’ve come to expect from a brand that continues to push the boundaries of marketing in so many fun, entertaining ways. Shoot, consider me intrigued!
Sign up for the sweepstakes and learn more on the Liquid Death site. While you’re there, watch some of their other videos. Just make sure you have some time to spare, because you’re bound to get tossed down the rabbit hole.
