We’re just back from Japan—more on that below this video—so anything Japan-centric is really piquing our interest: Skateboarding in the Far East, J-Pop tunes from the 80s and 90s, and even Asian markets in our American hometowns. So this new li’l ditty from Asics, Onitsuka Tiger basically being the Nike of Japan (more on this below as well), had us drawn to it—we got to see our Osaka tour-guide Leo Takayama, the glorious spots of Japan, and thankfully, some great J-pop-tinged music. As alluded to in the first paragraph, we had a brilliant time in Japan with the AriZona Iced Tea skateboarding team—edits will be dropping soon! Leo Takayama rolled with us in Tokyo and Osaka, showed how damn good he is at skating, and took us to all the best spots and restaurants.
