Unless you’ve been living on Mars, you already know Asics is in the skateboarding game. They’ve been killing it from day one, in my opinion, proving time and time again that they’re not just dabbling—they’re doing it right.
The latest addition to their ripping lineup is a clean new ‘Wood Crepe / Evergreen’ colorway of the Japan Pro, and it’s easily one of their nicest drops yet. Take a look:

Again, the brand has been moving a little differently from the start. No gimmicks. No overhyped antics. No rider-poaching. Just solid shoes, a low-key heavy roster, and a slow-burn approach that’s clearly been working.

As for this new colorway, it’s clean, subtle, and super easy on the eyes. At the same time, it’ll catch some attention on your favorite shop’s shoe wall without begging for it. The ‘Japan Pro’ has been a staple since the beginning as well, and every colorway I’ve seen has hit hard.
More and more shops are giving them shelf space too, which has been rad to see. So if you’ve been on the fence, this might be the drop that pushes you over.
Anyways, the ‘Wood Crepe/Evergreen’ Japan Pro is out now, and if anything, it just proves Asics is not slowing down any time soon. Might be time for me to lace a pair up and see what the hype’s about!
