You might recognize Juan Pablo Gómez, aka JP, from the video MACBA Life x TransWorld MACBA Love collab video. JP is a 28-year-old skateboarder from Ibagué, Colombia, living in Barcelona since 2019. No Way Out reflects his lifelong passion and commitment to skateboarding. He’s been fully dedicated since age 12, when he met Luis Beltrán—the filmer who shot his very first skate clip on a 3CCD camera back in 2010.
“NO WAY OUT is a lifestyle. It started in Colombia and we brought it to life in Barcelona. It’s a mentality, a commitment to skateboarding. There is no plan B. There is no other life plan, “NO WAY OUT” skateboarding is the only option.

Thanks to the filmmakers, photographers, and everyone involved in this project who have supported us in any way to achieve our goal and make it a reality.”
“JP and Luis always dreamed of skating and filming in Barcelona, hoping to one day be featured in international magazines like TransWorld. For JP, No Way Out represents that deep love for skateboarding risking everything to chase goals, with no backup plan. His journey has included the challenges of living abroad and at times without papers, but he’s pushed through it all to stay true to his vision.”—Mario Cano
Barcelona’s still got the magic. No better city in the world for skateboarding.
