Tony Hawk is obviously no stranger to fun board graphics—when you’ve been in the game as long as him, well, there are plenty of ’em—but his latest Birdhouse plank is an absolute banger, if you ask me. Total dad move!
As you’ll see in the post below, Tony used the classic Baker font to spell out “Riley’s Dad”—a playful nod to his son, Riley, who rides for Baker—and the picture of these two holding the boards is pure gold. Take a look:

I mean, I know this isn’t necessarily groundbreaking news, but it’s still a simple, rad gesture, proving once again that Tony isn’t just the greatest skateboarder of all time—he’s also one of the coolest dads (and now grandpas) in skateboarding. Facts.

If you’re a skateboarder, you know first hand that Riley has carved his own lane in the industry. His career has never been about riding in his dad’s shadow, but that doesn’t mean these two aren’t straight-up skate-homies!
And I think that’s what makes this graphic so great. It’s a sort of funny, humble way for Tony to shine some light Riley’s success. Love to see it!
Should we expect a Baker graphic that says “Tony’s Son”? Eh, probably not. But those would be some fun wall-hangers for them, that’s for sure!
