Tap in and support your local skateshop! Dave gives up a temperature check, literally and metaphorically, for his shop up in Washington State. What’s going on with the average (if there is one) skateshop customer these days?
“This episode Mitch and Steve bring back their good friend @dave_waite and talk about running a shop in 2025, the new thunder T2 trucks, Dave’s love of soft vert wheels, and much more……. also use the code “DEADAIR15” on checkout at www.35thave.com for a 15% discount on anything in the web store.”
Always interesting to hear what’s selling and who’s buying skateboards in different parts of the country. Right now, it’s all over the place, age-wise. Skateboarding is a hobby to a lot of people now, and not necessarily a passion. Kids don’t care about a monthly skate mag.

At any rate, we love skater-owned shops, we love what Dave’s doing, we love these Dear Air Radio episodes focusing on core shops—this is the community you’ve gotta support. Onward and upward!
