Over the weekend, three of the first X Games League (XGL) Founder Athletes were officially introduced, including Nyjah Huston and Ryan Sheckler.
“X Games League marks a major evolution for action sports,” X Games mentioned. “Transforming competition into a team-based, seasonal league.”

Alongside Nyjah and Sheckler, “Australian BMX innovator” Ryan Williams will be playing a similar role on the BMX side.
Personally, I’m still wrapping my head around what it all means. I’m not hating—just trying to take it all in. It’s wild to see how fast skateboarding is progressing on a daily basis, and the contest world seems to be picking up its pace all the same.
