As rad as the shoes are, it just wouldn’t be right to not steer you all in the direction of Romel Torres’ new “Welcome to CONS” video part that dropped earlier this week. Torres is honestly one of my new favorite skaters and the part was a total breath of fresh air. If you haven’t seen it yet, tap that post below before anything else.

His spot selection is something to admire (and be a little envious of). His style is raw and powerful. His trick selection accompanies both perfectly. And the part just had an energetic vibe to it that simply makes you want to skate. Oh yeah, and his ender was one of the heaviest curtain-closers I’ve seen in a minute. The dude can do it all.
Okay, back to the shoes—every colorway of the Louie Lopez 2 has been an instant classic, in my opinion. There’s truly a little something for everyone out there. And although I haven’t skated a pair myself yet, anyone I’ve seen wearing them/skating them looks super dope. Especially Louie (obviously).
