Converse CONS has been firing on all cylinders in 2025. From fresh colorways to limited skateshop collabs and new pro models that simply deliver, it feels like every month they’ve dropped something worth talking about. Hard to believe we’re only partway through the year, but here we are. In no particular order, here are seven of the best (aka my favorite) CONS drops that have hit so far. Take a look:
1. Louie Lopez 2
Well, this one is obviously a no-brainer. The Louie Lopez 2 isn’t just one of CONS’ best drops of the year, I’d say it’s one of the best skate shoe drops just in general. If Louie Lopez stamps his name on something, you already know it’s made to skate. No gimmicks. No fluff. Just skateboarding.
And his second signature model delivers everything you need to get rad. Durability. Boardfeel. Comfort where it matters most. With plenty of color options to choose from, these things rip, plain and simple. Have you tried a pair yet? You should.
2. AS-1 Pro – Navy
There have been so many rad AS-1 colorways drops this year—in fact, within the last few weeks, I’ve seen some absolute gems! But this Navy colorway that just dropped in early August is so easy on the eyes. Don’t be fooled, though.
Despite how clean this new colorway is, the AS-1 Pro isn’t just about looks—it’s designed to skate. Simple as that. And if you’ve tried a pair yourself, you know just how solid of a skate shoe it is. Plus, Alexis is an absolute legend, on and off the board. No debate. She’s done a lot for skateboarding, that’s for sure. All the more reason to support this ripping skater and buy her shoes.

3. Bobby De Keyzer One Star Academy Pro
Bobby De Keyzer rips. That’s really all that needs to be said. His talent is pretty much otherworldly at this point, and he definitely deserved this shoe. I’ll let CONS take it from here: “Like his skating, the Converse CONS x Bobby Dekeyzer One Star Academy Pro is a timeless take on tradition,” they mentioned on their site.

4. Rapid Skateboarding CTAS Low
Back in May, Rapid Skateboarding—one of Simi Valley’s finest shops—dropped their very own version of the iconic Converse CTAS Low, straight from the heart of the 805. Along with Rapid, the kicks are available exclusively at Ceremony, Lighthouse and Blackhole skateshop. Bold and local! These didn’t last long, but they sure were sick. And anytime a ripping skateshop is involved, well, you know I’m all for it. Get a closer look below:
5. Rémy Taveira Fastbreak Pro
Straight from the streets of Paris, Rémy Taveira has always brought a distinct blend of style and precision to skateboarding—and his tasteful Fastbreak Pro colorway from Converse CONS was a great reflection of that.
“Using the Fastbreak Pro’s court-inspired lines as the vehicle to bring Paris to you, Rémy’s signature colorway relays what he loves most about his home with a wear-away leather upper that reveals details over time,” Converse mentions on their site. “Using hidden symbolism throughout the design, it’s an immersive take on a mid-top silhouette finished with personal touches that speak to duality.”

6. Roman Gonzalez CTAS Pro
Ripping skateboarder (and all-around human) Roman Gonzalez got the chance to reimagine the timeless Converse CONS Chuck Taylor All Star Pro back in February—and he absolutely delivered. He went with a rich brown suede upper, added a modified toe cap, custom cord laces, and some insanely rad embossed tongue artwork, it appears that he truly put his personal touch on every little detail. These were sick! But they went fast. Who copped a pair?
7. Labor Skateshop One Star Pro OX
Converse CONS and NYC’s own Labor Skateshop joined forces on a bold new “Overnight Express” colorway of the One Star Pro OX in April, and it’s fair to say this collab was for the diehards and NYC heads, but in fairness, it hit hard from coast to coast. But for the skaters who know the shop and the local scene, well, yeah—this was definitely for them. These were super limited, too, and went quickly.
Designed by skateboarders for skateboarders (and doused with plenty of East Coast attitude to back it up), these things were meant to be destroyed, not collected. And I’m sure that was the case for anyone who copped.

Again, these are in no particular order, but they’ve all caught my eye for one reason or another. We’re a little over halfway through the year now, and we all know there will be plenty more coming from the CONS camp. So far, so good. Go skate!
