From the beginning, WKND has always stood out from the pack. Not just for their skating, either—which is proper in every sense—but for their unmatched creativity, storytelling, and downright comedic genius. And if you’ve ever watched one of their skits, you know exactly what I mean.
Their latest masterpiece, Boardwatch is no exception. Partnering up with Oblivion surf shop—another link up no other brand but WKND could pull off—the skit is a fun play on Baywatch… but honestly, I’d rather watch this all day. You know what to do. Settle in, press play and prepare to be entertained:
Say what you want, but the list of cameos here is well worth a mention, if you ask me. The perfect blend of “good homies” and familiar faces alike: Greg Lewolt, Jamie Foy, Richard Solomon, Rowan Zorilla, Kevin Long, Tre Tenny, Curren Caples, Bob Tug, Kay Luz, Kayla Dizon, Gregory Preston, Danny Montoya, Zion Wright, Arto Saari and Lucas Lecacheur.

I’m not saying the skate world constantly takes itself too seriously, but there are plenty of little corners that certainly do. In that sense, WKND has always been an absolute breath of fresh air, from their graphics to their team to their videos and really everything they represent.
They’ve partnered with rollerblade companies, now surf shops, what’s next? Doesn’t matter, as far as I’m concerned. I’m a fan of the brand and love everything they do. Simple as that! And c’mon, you know these skits are so fun to make.
Peep the new WKND x Oblivion collection here. Yes, they have 90s-inspired board shorts. But jokes aside, it’s all actually super rad. Get there!
