This past weekend at the Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA, Tony Hawk joined Goldfinger on stage to celebrate the band’s recent gold album milestone. It wasn’t The Birdman’s first time grabbing a mic with them, but this one felt special.

Since we’re talking about the THPS video game franchise, Tony’s team surprised him with a custom “real-life level” inside his office on release day—complete with goofy obstacles and nostalgic nods to classic challenges from the game.

But all the new levels do look pretty fun. The attention to detail is real.
To be fair, Goldfinger’s success certainly started long before the video game era, but with that said, there’s no denying the role that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater played in introducing their music (and countless others) to a new generation.
Call it a full circle moment. Call it whatever you want. But this was pretty rad.
