One of skateboarding’s newest board brands, Vinyl Skateboards recently spent a week rolling through the streets of New York and returned with a heater of an edit to prove it.
With heavy clips from Blake Carpenter, Art Cordova, Thomas Dritsas, and Daniel Teran—shot through the lens of Kev Perez—this one’s packed front to back with some classic East Coast flavor. Looked like a pretty productive trip, if you ask me! Press play and get stoked.

There are a lot of board brands in skateboarding these days. A lot. But who am I to say there isn’t room for any more? Selling planks is one thing, but building a solid team of ripping skateboarders is a beast of its own. In that realm, I’d say Vinyl has already succeeded. Seems like things are off to a good start! Have you seen their debut promo video? Check it below.
No weak link up in there, right!? Just high energy, heavy spots and plenty of style to go around. As far as an introduction video is concerned, this is certainly one way to turn heads. What can I say? They killed it.
There were more than a few clips peppered in here that made me pause and rewind. Don’t blink, or you just might miss ’em.
In fairness, when the brand first entered the skate world, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But so far, their videos have exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to see what’s next. And even though there isn’t a whole lot happening on their website at the moment, you can check it here.
