In episode three we get a video walkthrough with an 80s OG: Mr. Eli Morgan Gesner, and his stories are incredible. Tune in and get a feel for what New York City and the Brooklyn Banks were like for a skateboarder in the 80s. The place was a zoo!
The idea for this whole interview series was birthed on June 5 of this year—the day the Big Banks reopened to the public. Check out our recap of that day below:

So many OGs and New York locals were there, the stories started flowing. Not only that, we all marveled at a version of the Brooklyn Banks that we’d never thought we’d see. Check out the first two episodes if you missed them. They’re also streaming on our Spotify and Apple Podcast channels.

Maybe more to come from this series, maybe not. These were the first three guys I had in mind and wanted to talk to. My sincere thanks to all three of these legends. It was such a pleasure to hear the stories and be let into that circle.

Looking forward to the Small Banks, rumored to be opening later this year! Major shouts out to Steve Rodriguez and Gotham Park for their tireless work getting the Banks back!
