Wade Speyer is one skateboarder who doesn’t need much of an intro, but if you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know he was just inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame—and for good reason. He’s your favorite skater’s favorite skater.
To celebrate, Black Label dropped a special edition, all-black dipped Wade Speyer ‘Eagle’ board, along with a standard shape featuring Wade’s favorite ‘Old Flannel’ background. A must-cop for any Speyer fan! Get a closer look below:

I’ve always been a fan of Wade Speyer. His skateboarding has always been raw and infectious. Whether in person or through the screen, his energy can be felt in every clip. Fast, aggressive, original. Who else skates spines like Wade? No one.

As mentioned, he was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame this year (2025) and there was no denying he belongs there. “Wade Speyer is one of the best all around skaters ever,” SHOF wrote on YouTube. “In the late 1980’s all the way until the 2000’s he ripped parks, streets, ramps and everything else he skated.”
Check his official induction video below for a little trip down memory lane.
We need more skaters like Wade, in my humble opinion. No need for gimmicks with a dude like him. No scraping by doing the bare minimum. Just pure, raw, unhinged skateboarding.
