One of the best things about skateboarding is that it’s for everyone. And Tony Hawk is proving just how true that is with The Skatepark Project and Magnolia’s Guide to Adventuring. The Birdman recently joined forces with @rettrevealed to give two girls with Rett Syndrome, Gemma and Magnolia, an unforgettable day of ripping. Take a look:

Rett Syndrome is a rare, complex neurodevelopmental condition that affects nearly all aspects of life. Tony mentioned he was “honored to be in a world-class skatepark skating with kids with Rett syndrome and sharing that with the world.”

Although Rett Syndrome comes with plenty of challenges, this inspiring session proved that skateboarding isn’t off the table. Love that. With the right adaptive support, Gemma, Magnolia, and others like them can experience the freedom and joy that skateboarding provides.
You know the feeling. I know the feeling. They know the feeling. The stoke is real.
