Truly, nothing unites people around the world like skateboarding. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, geographically or socio-economically, meeting a fellow skateboarder from a different corner of the world and getting to see their scene through their eyes is one of the best experiences we’re lucky enough to have. Being a skateboarder, and traveling, is really the best thing in the world.
The Chanotv crew have been at it for years, crossing borders and forging friendships all across North America. Our good buddy, San Diego loc Jose Corral put this one on our radar (he’s got some hot clips with SD homie Erick Winkowski). We love it here.
“Amo Aquí is the title of our new full-length skateboarding video, which represents the feeling of our present, experiencing different situations and adversities that make us love this lifestyle when we go out in the streets to skate and film with our friends.
This video features more than 25 skaters from Mexico and the United States, filmed from 2023 to the present in cities such as Guadalajara, Mexico City, León, Culiacán, Mazatlán, and San Diego.”

We tapped the filmmaker for a description just for us, and here’s what he sent over: “Chanotv returns with another gem, “Amo Aqui,” displaying raw street skating from Guadalajara, Mexico City, León, and more. Hills, stairs, ledges, ditches, and rails—you name it, it’s there. No big production—just solid skating and a good look at how it all comes together in different places. Enjoy 28 minutes of all-terrain skating featuring skaters from Mexico and the US with familiar faces like Felipe Bartolome, Errick Winkowski and more.”
Loving the vibes here. If you gringos haven’t ventured south of the border to skate and explore, you’re missing out on a whole world of opportunities.
