We might be at the tail end of the initial Curren Caples Vans signature shoe launch hype by now, but for many, it’s only just begun. Continuing the celebration of his first-ever signature shoe with Vans, Curren linked up with Route One skateshop for a laid-back conversation in Bristol where they talk footwear, filming, FA and much more. I love these interviews. Take a look:
The conversation gives us a proper glimpse into Curren’s world—far beyond the excitement of having his name on a Vans silhouette for the first time. If you’ve followed his career since his early days like many of us have, you could say it’s all been a long time coming. Still feels like he’s just getting started, too!

TWS’ head honcho, Blair Alley spent a few days out in the desert for the initial launch of Curren’s shoe, and it looked like a good time, to say the very least. Skateboarding, champagne, caviar, wave pools—Vans went all out. But are we surprised? Yes, I said skateboarding, champagne and caviar.
Vans dropped another ripping round-up of Curren and squad while they were out in the UK celebrating as well. You can watch below. The fun doesn’t stop!

I’ve said it before and I’ll happily say it again—if anyone deserves a signature Vans shoe, it’s obviously Curren. The dude has been a powerhouse since he was pint-sized and is bound to go down in skateboarding as one of the best. His talent, style and grit are undeniable. He’s been part of the Vans family forever, too. So, yeah. Super well-deserved!
Look for Curren’s signature Vans shoe at your local shop. Congrats again, Curren.
