I’ll be the first to admit it—David Jakinda wasn’t really on my radar until, well, now. But The Heated Wheel just changed that with one of the most refreshing welcome parts I’ve seen in a minute.
From the first trick on, it’s clear Jakinda brings something different to the table (in all the best ways). His skating is raw, powerful, sorta playful, and most importantly, filled with originality that makes every clip worth a rewatch. This rules. Take a look:

The additional appearances by Eniz Fazliov, Brooks Bushman, Moses Nouur, Tom Remillard, Sebastian Axel Dianoff, Gerry Sherman, Peter Hewitt, Frank Gerwer, and Neil Blender were simply just the cherry on top of an already epic part.

Power. Variety. Style. Fun. It’s all there. And this is definitely a proper introduction to David’s skating as far as I’m concerned. Some of these tricks will have you pausing and rewinding.
Stoked to see The Heated Wheel continue to quietly make moves, too. Like many, Neil Blender has always been one of my favorites, so when he attaches himself to something, you can basically guarantee it’s gonna be rad.

Again, if this part is your first introduction to David, you’re in for a treat. If you’ve been following him already, then you know this is just the beginning. Regardless, something tells me we’ll be seeing more of this dude in the near future. Those last few tricks are so sick. Get there!
