I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely been wondering what’s been going on with $lave Skateboards lately. If you follow them on Instagram, you’ve probably seen cryptic posts like “the beginning of the end” along with some deep dives into the archives (which I’m not complaining about). But still, it had me wondering what was going on with one of my favorite board brands.
Turns out, we’ve got our answer. The newly launched Glass House Skateboards is picking up right where $lave left off, and the lineup is already stacked. You’ve got a solid mix of OG $lave riders and some familiar new faces: TJ Person, Zack Wallin, Logan Taylor, Cody Jacobson, Pat Burke, Anthony Schultz, Danny Dicola, and AJ Zavala. Heavy squad. And the best part is—they already dropped a promo video. Take a look:

As stoked as I am to see all the $lave riders making the transition, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t super stoked on seeing Zack Wallin’s name in the mix. The dude has always been one of my favorite skaters and I know he’s been floating around a bit the last few years. Finding a home at Glass House is such a solid move.

Glass House just made the announcement on Instagram today and the response has been nothing but positive. $lave stuck to their guns from day one and I have no doubt that Glass House is going to do the exact same thing.
This is just the beginning. But if you want to take a little trip down memory lane, peep $laves ‘Memory Landfill’ on their site for some proper nostalgia.
Follow Glass House on Instagram. Peep their website. And keep your eyes peeled for more videos and announcements from the brand in the coming weeks.
We couldn’t be more stoked about the news. And honestly, the timing couldn’t be better. Onward!
