Having your own pro model plank is the goal for a lot of skateboarders out there, and rightfully so—it’s a big deal. Having your own signature shoe (especially with one of the almighty giants) is a little less likely, but obviously a milestone all the same. But getting some signature Spitfire wheels? That’s just dope. No argument.
Nelly Morville is one of skateboarding’s current low-key up and comers. She recently turned pro for Limosine Skateboards, riding confidently under the wings of Cyrus Bennett, Max Palmer, Logan Lara and the rest of the brand’s star-studded cast of underground heavyweights. And Spitfire followed it up with Nelly’s own signature Radial Full wheel. Have you seen ’em? Take a look:

Morville is part of this new class of skateboarders who have their own distinct style—on and off the board—an outside the box trick selection and an eye for spots that is anything but typical. It’s refreshing, to say the very least, and it’s necessary in this era of skateboarding.

It’s not like the skate world is actually divided—like, not in a scratchy, political sense—but there are certainly different types of skateboarders spanning across the globe with different tastes, interests, inspirations and approaches. Skateboarding is skateboarding, and I’m not here to hate. But I will say this: I’m a huge fan of the way Nelly skates. Total ripper.
You can tell she’s done her homework, but she also rolls with a pretty heavy squad. Hop on a few sessions with the Limosine crew and you’re gonna start looking at spots a little differently. Every crack and imperfection is an opportunity to get rad.

I’m stoked to see Nelly getting some shine. Hit your local and swoop up a pair of her new Spits. And if they’re woke enough to carry Limosine, cop her pro model board while you’re at it.
This is just the beginning, and I’m hyped to see what Nel has in store for us in the coming years.
