Speaking of his local park, Jake is a true, straight-up local. He’s giving back to his skate community in so many ways, from funding updates at the skatepark to happily hosting demos for the kids, the dude is more than just another skateboarder in the area—he’s a leader in the Sarasota scene.

Sarasota might not have a million spots, and it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but again, home is home! At the end of the day, this reminds me one thing—you can take the skater out of the hometown, but you can’t take the hometown out of the skater. Boom.
