I know I bring up “nostalgia” quite a bit, but these days, skateboarding is full of it. We all have the glory days, the early days, this, that and the other, but seeing these Tony Hawk ‘Falcon’ graphics shot me back to a super special time in my life.
Birdhouse has re-released these iconic graphics a few times, and they always move fast. This time around is certainly no exception. But if you grew up on these graphics like me, take a closer look below and we’ll go for a roll down memory lane.

I’m proud to say I had all three graphics growing up, but only “Falcon 1” was actually bought brand new. Classic Christmas complete (and I know the colors were a little different).
The other two were trades with friends, and I’m sure those friends technically got the better deal as they were pretty beat up. But I didn’t care. I needed them. And it’s not even like I was a huge fan of Tony Hawk at the time—he was just simply Tony Hawk. That’s all that mattered. Because you certainly weren’t gonna see me skating vert! Plus, what did I know anyways?

Regardless, I’m a mega fan these days and like countless others, can’t even imagine where skateboarding would be without The Birdman. But these graphics just represent a priceless, innocent time in my life when I was fully falling in love with skateboarding.
Again, Birdhouse has re-released these before and they moved fast. But this time around, it looks like select skateshops across the country got some as well. If you want one, I’d make moves, because these won’t last long. And who knows when they’ll be back?
Shoutout to Tony Hawk and Birdhouse for bringing back the magic once again either way. Funny how a random graphic on a little wooden plank can do that, but it can. Hit the Birdhouse site and test your luck. Otherwise, hit your local!
