We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Super Skate Posse‘s Givebacks are the coolest thing in skateboarding. If you see one in person, you might just well up with joy, seeing a long line of young kids getting their first skateboard and feeling the stoke of rolling on one for the first time. Their latest is at the incredible new skatepark in Watts, California. More on that skatepark right here!
“On March 16, 2025 SSP teamed up with The Skatepark Project to bring Supply The Ride program to the newly opened Watts Skatepark. The day kicked off with a full equipment giveaway for 100 local kids with skateboards and t-shirts courtesy of Primitive, helmets from Pro Tech and skate shoes from New Balance Numeric, followed by a pro demo featuring the Primitive skate team: Paul Rodriguez, Miles Silvas, Robert Neal, Franky Villani, Trent McClung and Jonny Hernandez. Massive gratitude to LA Parks Foundation, LA City Parks and every partner and volunteer who helped make the day run smoothly. And of course, thank you to the kids and families of Watts—y’all brought the magic. 🙌
