Palace and Vans are linking up yet again, and this time around you could argue it’s with one of their most low-key collabs yet (design-wise). And personally, I’m all for it.
The new Old Skool 36 collection certainly isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel. No wild designs, no questionable materials, no gimmicks. Just clean, bold colors on a classic silhouette that already speaks for itself. Again, count me in.

As we see in the video above, the Palace hit on the heel adds an extra layer of stoke (at least for die-hard Palace fans) but the shoes themselves look like they’re ready to skate. Give ’em your worst! And it looks like we can expect a handful of colorways as well, each with a solid upper and white sole. Boom.

With all of that said, I’m not sure what they’re retailing for quite yet. So if that Palace logo makes them more expensive than they need to be, that’s another conversation.
The Palace x Vans Old Skool 36 collab officially Friday, May 9 in UK, EU and US at Palace stores and online. They’ll hit Japan the day after. Cop ’em if you want ’em!
