Miles Silvas is officially on YouTube, and yeah, you should probably subscribe. More and more of our favorite pro skaters are starting to post their own content these days, and honestly, we’re here for it. Does it trip me out? Sort of, yeah.
But I grew up on skate video VHS tapes, 411VM, and magazine interviews to learn more about what my favorite pros did when they weren’t out there ripping.
And while that’s neither here nor there, the fact that we have access to pro skaters in this way is pretty rad. Have you seen his debut video? Well, you can actually only watch it on his YouTube channel. (C’mon, Miles! Make ’em public!) But tap the photo below and let’s keep talking.

We get the gym, the streets and a little bit of everything else in between, but it’s all super rad. This is the fun stuff! There’s just something rad about seeing the day-to-day of our favorite pros. It’s a new world. And it’s low key inspiring just watching how dialed-in he is without being over the top.

Fifteen, twenty years ago? This kind of stuff would’ve been unheard of. Unthinkable! But today? We get to see our favorite pros—and countless others—not just on the board but behind the scenes too. It’s rad.
Also, the fact that someone like Miles—who’s still out there going absolutely wild in the streets—is taking time to document and share that experience just adds another layer of appreciation.
And for all you hungry up-and-comers out there, this kind of content must be priceless! You see the work, the mindset, and everything else that it basically takes to really make it in skateboarding these days. More or less.
What a time to be alive. What a world we live in. Are you still here? Tap into Miles’ YouTube. Actually, no—don’t. Go skate!
