The OG Accel from éS is, in my humble opinion, one of the most iconic skate shoes of all time. I’m sure plenty of you would agree. And whether you were skating it in the early 2000s, obsessing over them in magazines and skate videos, or just recently got your hands on a reissue, there’s no denying its impact on skateboarding.
éS has played with the formula a bit over the years as well. I mean, these days it seems like it never left, but the modern-day Accel OG was a reissue, after all. Can’t forget that. Then we got the Accel Slim. And now, the latest addition to the Accel family—the Accel FIT.

I’m obviously curious to see how both OG skaters and newer folks respond to this one. It’s clear éS is trying to evolve without losing touch with what made the Accel special in the first place, but that can be a trickier task to accomplish than it might seem. But hey, it seems like people are stoked, so who knows?
