Street League Skateboarding recently teased the first look at the SLS Miami course at the Watsco Center—and if you’re a local Miami skater (or have at least skated there before), you’ll probably recognize a few iconic Miami street spots peppered into the course.
Personally, I think it’s a subtle but cool touch that adds a little flavor to what might otherwise feel like a pretty standard layout. These courses certainly don’t change much! But more on that later. Take a look below. Can you name the spots?

Alright, let’s talk about the course. It may not look all that different from other recent stops, and I suppose that’s kind of the point these days. What can you do? SLS has to keep things consistent across contests to help dial in the judging, so the courses have naturally leaned toward a more uniform feel.
At the same time, the level of consistency and control the pros bring to the contest is unreal, and this standardization certainly plays a role in that. Hey, this is nothing new, I know. But it’s always nice when we get a few new obstacles in the mix. Plus, this is a conversation for another time, you know? Let’s talk details.

Have you ever been to a live SLS event? I have no problem admitting they’re actually super fun. The energy inside these arenas is hard to explain, and at the end of the day, watching your favorite pros do what they do best in an environment like that is honestly pretty rad.
Whether you’re watching from home or lucky enough to snag a spot inside the Watsco Center, the Miami stop is bound to be buck! I’m not here to pick favorites, but my eyes are on Cordano and Hoban! Our local dudes! But yeah, everyone skating the Miami stop is top shelf.
