The New Zealand documentarians at MuckMouth soldier on with a new episode, the sixth to be exact, on the barefoot Kiwi legend Lee Ralph. The year was 1987, the location? Skate Camp. Sub Society was on the boombox, Bod Boyle was boosting fast plants—what a time to be alive.

“Episode 6 of 8 New eps out weekly! Unbelievably, this has taken over 15 years of literal blood, shit loads of sweat, and millions of tears – so thank you all for your extreme patience. With a budget of absolutely fuck all – we have finally finished this masterpiece after nearly 2 decades. Sorry how long it’s taken, Lee! Thank you to everyone that has helped, contributed, or even just watched – we love you all.”

This episode covers the rapid progression of the pros who attended Skate Camp that summer. Everything from Jason Jessee and Lee doing pivot to fakies on the vert ramp to future pros learning how to drop in thanks to Lee. Malba and Lee coasted the 11-foot gap between the ramps with style, grabbing. Then, as dusk ascended, Lee starts trying to hit the gap with a straight up Ollie. Cue the Hokus Pokus soundtrack. Looks like Mike Ternasky in frame there too when Lee lands it.

Another sick episode, really digging these!
